Audrey M. Brouwer is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). She has worked in the insurance industry since 1987. An employee of Davidson Insurance for 14 years, she holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Dordt College. Audrey is active with the Missions Council of her church, Meals for New Moms and March for Babies. Her interests include reading, gardening, golf and bicycling. Audrey lives in Vancouver with her husband of 24 years, Pete. They have two teenagers, Joanne and Sam.

Bruce Davidson opened the doors of Davidson Insurance on March 1, 1990. Before moving his young family to Vancouver, he accrued experience in the insurance industry at an established agency in Reno, Nevada where he received his B.S. in Business from the University of Nevada. Since starting Davidson Insurance, the agency has grown from a one-man shop to an agency of 11 professional insurance advisors. Bruce, who is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), delights in serving his clients in the role of a trusted advisor. “We have had the privilege of working with some of our clients for more than 20 years,” Bruce says. “That is an honor.” A key aspect of working with our clients is helping them to understand the potential risks that are around them. Protecting loved ones and businesses takes more than a compliance mentality. “Understanding what each policy does and does not provide is a challenge for clients. We simplify that challenge and make it understandable,” he says. “Every day, we see policies afford protection to our clients against financial loss.” Highly involved in the community, Bruce has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Vancouver since 1989 and is a Past President (2005-2006). He has been a member of the Clark College Foundation Board of Directors since 2003 and was previously Chair of the Board (2008-2010). He is also a member of the Fort Vancouver National Trust Advisory Board. Bruce lives in Vancouver with his wife of 34 years, Lani, and enjoys spending time with their daughter Heather, son-in-law Ram, grandchildren Cole and Eve, and son Bryce, who has joined the agency. He likes traveling, running and “attempting to play golf.”

Bryce Davidson joined Davidson Insurance in 2012. He previously worked for nearly eight years as a Manager at Ernst and Young in San Francisco where he focused on mergers, acquisitions and financial statement audits. Bryce graduated from Santa Clara University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and economics. Bryce’s extensive volunteer activities include teaching National Academy Foundation and Junior Achievement classes for Bay Area schools, holiday toy drives and leading various fundraisers benefiting the San Francisco Food Bank and Bay area chapters of the American Heart Association and MS Society. An active athlete, Bryce rowed crew for four years while at Santa Clara University, traveling to regattas around the country. He is a marathoner, scuba diver, avid skier and backpacker, including a recent hike from the South Rim to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (22 miles) in one day. Bryce resides in Vancouver.

Tony Johnson joined Davidson Insurance in 2009 after a long career in human resources with his firm, T.J. and Associates, Inc. He earned his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) in 2010. He has a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Delaware. Tony is active in the community through the Rotary Club of Vancouver where he is a Past President (2007-2008). He is a graduate of and past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leadership Clark County (2006-2007). Tony’s interests include golf, fishing, biking, kayaking and ice hockey. Tony and his wife, Lori, have been married for 17 years. They live in La Center with their children, Cal and Sylvie.

Susan Orff is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) who has worked in the insurance industry since 1994. She joined Davidson Insurance in 2000. Susan is active with the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, a national organization that advances the awareness, understanding and treatment of Angelman Syndrome, which her grandson Mason has. Her personal interests include playing cards, reading, swimming and playing with her four grandchildren. Susan and her husband, Tim, have been married for 29 years. They have two children, four grandchildren, and recently moved to Brush Prairie.

Melissa Ralston has been a licensed insurance agent since 1979 and joined Davidson Insurance in 2003. In 2005, she achieved the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) . Melissa grew up in Naselle, Washington. She is involved in the Vancouver community as a Bible study leader and co-chair of the Womens’ Ministries at Salmon Creek Methodist Church. Her interests include reading, writing and paper crafts. Married for 34 years to husband, Paul, she has one son, Jake, two grandsons, Kyle and Travis. Passionate about animals, Melissa has four pet “children” – dogs Finn and Emma and cats Lucy and Ruben. They all reside in Vancouver.

Sandra Ramirez entered the insurance field in 1977. She joined Davidson Insurance in 2008. She has an Associate in Arts in English from Skyline College in the San Francisco Bay area. Sandra is involved in the community through the Leukemia Society, PTA and March of Dimes. She enjoys sewing, reading, comedy, watching movies and shopping. She has the fun distinction of studying the art of comedy while attending the Ringling Bros. Clown College. Sandra and her husband, Gustavo, live in Vancouver. They have been married 20 years and have two sons, Alex and Rafael.

Margaret joined Davidson Insurance in 2010, and earned her Insurance Producer's license in 2011. She previously was a recruiter at a staffing agency and has held a supervisory position at Starbucks. Margaret attended Portland State University. She has volunteered at the Salvation Army in downtown Portland and the March of Dimes’ March for Babies. Her personal interests include walking, reading and crocheting. Margaret grew up in North Bend/Coos Bay, Oregon and lives in Vancouver.

Shelly Shaindlin joined our agency in April 2013. She previously worked for the Evergreen School District and at the Portland Clinic. Shelly grew up in Walla Walla, WA and graduated from Warner Pacific College with a BS in Sociology/Social Work. She moved to Vancouver in 1994. She and her husband Lamont still reside in Vancouver and have two grown daughters, Emily and Taylor, who are both in college. In her free time, Shelly likes to read and go on hikes with her husband.

Anne W. Sibley, a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), joined Davidson Insurance in 2012. She has 30 years experience in the insurance industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in political science from Oregon State University. Anne is an active volunteer with her church and is a past Girl Scout leader. She is also an avid shopper, reader, children’s sports enthusiast and loves to travel. She lives in Vancouver with her husband of 21 years, Harry, and son, Chris. Their daughter, Kate is a student at University of Washington.

Pat Spicer is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). She entered the insurance industry in 1972 and joined Davidson Insurance in 2007. Pat is very active in the community as a Lunch Buddy at Hough Elementary School. She has a huge heart for the “at risk children” in the community as well as children with “disabilities”. She raised a special child with Muscular Dystrophy for 27 years before the disease became too difficult to fight. She has facilitated Bible studies and has been involved as the “music lady” for pre-schoolers and volunteering as an Awana leader at her church. Her personal interests include walking, sailing and singing in a choir. She was born and raised in Vancouver and remains in Vancouver. She is the mother of three children, Kelly, Craig and Jenny.
